Accountants in Manchester, have you thought about moving into the Pensions space?

How about working with a firm that isn't so big that you are just a number but not too small that ALL the work is on you?

I am looking for someone to oversee the financial management and reporting of our clients pension funds.

You don't have to have prior pensions experience (it would be great if you did!) but experience preparing statutory accounts and or management accounts is.

The office is based in Manchester, where you'll be needed twice a week.

So, what does the role entail?

  • You'll need to be a dab - hand at double entry bookkeeping
  • Reconciliation of pension payroll, investments, contributions to accounting records
  • You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and pension legislation.
  • Assist with audit processes and liaise with external auditors to facilitate the completion of audits in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and optimise financial processes.

The role is paying between £35,000 - £45,000 and are looking to interview over the next fortnight.
