This position is available from the 22nd of April until the end of the academic year, offering both full-time and part-time options!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a passion for physical activity and healthy lifestyles through the delivery of exceptional PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Develop and implement tailored lessons catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students, utilising a variety of teaching methodologies.
  • Encourage active participation and cultivate positive attitudes toward physical education and personal well-being.
  • Evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback to support their advancement and growth.
  • Foster effective communication with parents/guardians through parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Preferably hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications; experienced Sports Coaches are also welcome to apply.
  • Specialisation or significant experience in teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Demonstrated understanding of PE principles, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for promoting physical well-being and personal development.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Pay:

Competitive daily remuneration in line with the pay scale, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. The minimum daily rate for a non-planning and marking role is £120!
