Role: PE and Community Sports Coach
Salary: £22,500 - £25,300 DOE + Quarterly bonus
Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:30 - 16:30, with some evenings for afterschool clubs
The role:
To plan and deliver a variety of high-quality PE lessons and sports activities for our partner schools, alongside conducting community sports activities. The role will also be expected to maintain and develop excellent relationships with teachers, parents, and children.
Key Responsibilities;
- To plan and deliver a variety of high-quality sport and PE sessions for our partner schools.
- To attend any internal or external training required by the organisation.
- Provide a high standard of customer service by maintaining strong relationships with school staff and children.
- To deliver high-quality community sports sessions.
- Work with teachers and other members of school staff to deliver high quality sessions that facilitate the development and learning of children
- Provide an excellence service.
- To perform any other duties or responsibilities that benefit the organisation.
The Candidate;
- Minimum of 12 Months Experience as a Sports Coach
- A level 2 qualification or above in this area of work
- Experience of delivering sport and physical education within primary schools.
- Knowledge and experience of planning lessons and activities.
- Experience of engaging children in physical activity.
- Experience and knowledge of organising extra-curricular activities.
- Knowledge of the primary school PE national curriculum.
- Direct experience of developing and growing children’s physical knowledge
- Experience of delivering sports session in a community-based environment.
