Payroll Manager Sheffield £25,000 to £31,000 plus benefits

My client is a leading independent , well established accountancy practice in Sheffield who is going from strength to strength. Due to business growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced payroll officer to join their busy team.. The role has progression potential for someone in payroll but looking to widen their experience in time and gain exposure to Bookeeping and wider duties.

Key responsibilities include:Processing multiple payrolls on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis on behalf of clients Calculating SMP, SSP and Holiday pay. Dealing with RTI and Auto-enrolment. Sending BACs and Cheques Payments Knowledge of Iris payroll software and a good level of excel skills is ideal

Individuals are likely to have a strong track record in Payroll, ideally within an accountancy practice or be confident in dealing with multiple payrolls and deadlines. Knowledge of Iris payroll software would also be beneficial.. You will be looking to join a and be looking to join a well-established firm and there are opportunities for progression in the longer term for the right individuals,
