Your new role
Your new role will be largely varied and will be working within the Payroll team, reporting to the Payroll Manager. You will be responsible for processing starters and leavers, processing sickness and statutory payments (SMP/SPP, SSP) and also any additional payments (e.g. bonuses and salary increases). You will deal with payroll queries, assist in producing in month end management reports and journals and also maintain accurate pension member contribution data. Additionally, you will liaise with other members in HR to support answering queries, issue leavers' P45s and also analysing additional payment timesheet. Other duties will include attending and conducting meetings and generally assisting the Payroll Manager.
This role will be for at least five months.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need previous Payroll Administration experience, be able work effectively in a team environment to support morale, meet deadlines and be IT literate. You must have a 'can do' attitude and work to the highest standard of level.
