Our client, a leading law firm known for its exceptional service and expertise in intellectual property law, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Patent Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in complex UK litigation as well as the coordination of multi-jurisdictional litigation across the globe. This includes representing clients in high-profile cases before esteemed legal entities such as the General Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, IP Enterprise Court, and UKIPO. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on ground-breaking cases involving cutting-edge technology and significant legal principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and participating in UK and international patent litigation
• Developing strategies for complex litigation cases across various jurisdictions
• Working closely with a team of experts to deliver tailored legal solutions to our clients
• Staying abreast of developments in technology and life sciences that may impact legal strategies and outcomes

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2-5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in patent litigation
• A strong academic and professional background in law, with experience gained at a well-respected firm
• Specialised knowledge in technology and/or life sciences, with a preference for candidates having prior studies or qualifications in electronics, engineering, biology, chemistry, or pharmacology
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and research skills
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in a team and independently
