Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Pastoral Support Manager for a secondary school in Ellesmere Port.

The school we are working with are seeking a dynamic and proactive Pastoral Support Manager to support and work alongside Year Leaders and Senior leaders to provide outstanding pastoral support. The role holds many responsibilities in liaising with parents and students, teachers and leaders and external agencies. The ideal candidate will be confident in building and maintaining these relationships and representing the school in a professional manner.

We are ideally looking to fill this role by mid May with interviews being held in the upcoming weeks. The school ideally need someone that can offer full time availability from 8am to 4pm each day. The salary starts at £28,000.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day provision of a robust and supportive pastoral system to all students To enforce the school rules, maintain discipline and promote attendance whilst providing students with a high level of Pastoral Care.
  • Contributing to the school's long term strategy for pastoral support
  • Establishing, reviewing and refining school systems for pastoral support and behaviour management, as instructed by the Director for Behaviour for Learning.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the effectiveness and success of the school.
  • Assisting the Year Leader and a team of tutors in the care, welfare and academic progress of students.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

  • Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
  • A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
