Job Title: Pastoral Manager

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Duration: ASAP until July (with potential for permanent position)

Salary: Up to £100 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Manager to join our team at [School Name] in Bury, Greater Manchester. This role involves providing essential pastoral support to students, with a focus on behaviour management.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee the school's pastoral care system, ensuring the well-being and welfare of all students.
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students experiencing behavioural issues or other challenges, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective strategies for managing student behaviour and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Monitor and track student progress, intervening where necessary to address any concerns or issues.
  • Organise and deliver pastoral support programs and workshops to enhance student well-being and resilience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a pastoral or behaviour management role within a school or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies, with the ability to effectively support and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Empathetic and compassionate, with a genuine commitment to supporting the well-being and development of young people.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Location:

Our school is located in Bury, Greater Manchester, easily accessible by public transport.
