Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a leading Medical Membership Organisation to recruit a Partnerships Manager.

Job Title: Partnership Manager

Salary: £42000 - £45000/annum

Contract: Full-time, permanent position

Location: London, with some travel required - 2 days in the office per week

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Partnerships Manager will lead the strategic partnership function for the organisation, focusing on new business development and promoting the organisation's products and services in line with its strategic objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, develop innovative partnerships, and contribute to the broader mission of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of partnership aspects of the organisation's strategic plan.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Recruit and manage corporate members, group members, and platinum sponsorship partners. Develop and promote corporate membership packages.
  • World Partner Network: Maintain and develop relationships with partner networks and other societies.
  • Membership: Collaborate with the Membership Director on engagement campaigns and contribute to curated content initiatives.
  • Events: Work with the Education Director to support event sponsorship opportunities.
  • External Events: Represent the organisation at relevant external events and manage exhibition attendance.
  • Newsletter: Contribute to monthly newsletters and corporate communications.
  • Social Media: Contribute to social media strategy and development related to partnerships.
  • Sales Administration: Manage invoicing and sponsorship transactions.

Person Specifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership management, project management, or related fields, preferably within the charity or membership sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans, with a focus on innovation and growth.
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse information and make informed, timely decisions.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Team Collaboration: A collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously when required.
