Our Client is a market leader in the Logistics Industry

The Role

Ensuring the efficiency and compliance of our UK & International network of 3PL partners

( Final Mile, Line Haul & Airlines ) through day to day control and providing insight and trend analysis to maximise our commercial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Contract management of 3PL’s, service and spend/commercials
  • 3PL & overall network operation understanding
  • Distribution and Final mile current and future strategy
  • Knowledge of International Operational Carrier Markets
  • On boarding of new network partners
  • Full understanding of end to end Supply Chain
  • Management of SLA’s and KPI’s across the end to end Delivery Process
  • Track record of tackling and delivering enhancements and initiatives.
  • Commercial/procurement understanding
  • Client services experience/engagement
  • Internal and external stakeholder management/negotiation.
  • Implementation project support

Skills and Experience

Operational experience - proven experience in a 3 / 4PL network. Network process understanding, systems use, knowledge and understanding , Procurement process knowledge, contract management experience and have held full accountability of a budget previously.

A composite of positivity, energy, passion, and persistence wrapped into one, with a commitment to getting the best outcome for the network. The ability to make informed decisions and take accountability for seeing things through. It’s about getting over, around or through barriers to get the job done.
