Partner Designate - Looking For a Step Towards Partnership?

I'm working on an opportunity with a brilliant firm of chartered accountants near Farnborough who are looking to bring on a new Partner Designate, with the intention of moving into a full Partner role within the next 5 years.

Client Details

My client are a forward thinking, entrepreneurially minded Chartered Accountancy Practice who through consistent growth are now looking to recruit a new client facing Partner or Partner Designate to share the existing client portfolio's.

Their success is built on developing strong relationships, with services tailored to the specific needs of their clients. My client has a diverse and loyal client base.


The role has arisen through a combination of positive growth and planning and confirms the practices commitment to continual growth.

The role is to takeover a varied portfolio of clients, who are predominantly family owned SME businesses up to £100m turnover. A full spectrum of accountancy and advisory work will be delivered to the clients, including Accounts and Tax as well as assisting in mergers and acquisitions of businesses.


Who we're looking for

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

ACA/ ACCA qualified

Circa 8 years post qualified experience

A pragmatic approach and customer service focus

Strong commercial acumen.

Self-motivated and eager to succeed with ambitions to reach Director level

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build lifelong relationships with a wide variety of clients, and be proactive when networking and business developing.

Up to date tax legislation knowledge, personal/ corporate

Required skills

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant practice experience at a similar level
