Our client, a chemical manufacturer, are looking for a part-time Recruiter/HR Assistant on a temporary basis for a 3- 6 month contract.

The HR Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.


Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


* Assisting the Chairman and any relevant manager with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, the appraisal, training, and development of staff and issuing employment contracts.
* Assisting in the planning of processes designed to improve employee welfare.
* Involvement in the management of payroll.
* Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the company's HR function.
* Compiling and maintaining paper, digital, and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leave.
* Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits.
* Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars.
* Entering employee data into the Company's computer database.
* Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations. Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
* Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications.
* Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
* Generally ensuring and facilitating the smooth operation of the Company's HR function.
* Carrying out such additional duties as the Chairman or any person(s) designated by the Chairman may, from time to time, reasonably direct.
