Part time Compliance Advisor- Transport/ Logistics

I'm recruiting for a professional and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their growing team based at Heathrow. You will be responsible for ensuring all Health and safety/ compliance are met.

Daily duties will include:

• Overseeing all H&S for the Heathrow branch
• Risk assessments and implementing risk strategy
• Ensure all H&S related policies and procedures are communicated and implemented with accurate records maintained
• KPI's
• Must have overseen Audits internal and external
• Overall maintenance of building and surroundings
• Implement and monitor measures necessary to comply with H&S legislations
• Assisting with compliance for the branch
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Supporting the compliance manager with essential ADR, COSHH and COMAH compliant requisites
• Assisting with site evacuation drills and alarm testing regimes
• Compile statistics and conduct trend analysis data relevant to the nature of the business and operations
• BIFA- company representative and essential conduit of relevant information
• Thames Valley chamber of commerce- maintain awareness
• Adhoc project work

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• ISOH MANAGING SAFETY
• Good understanding of H&S standards and policies
• Experience within the freight forwarding industry

Working hours:

• Monday- Friday 0900- 3pm school hours!
