Our successful Redhill based client are looking for a Part Time Business Support Administrator to ensuring the smooth operation of their business activities. From health & safety, quality assurance through to client communications, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their operations. Monday to Friday 09.00 - 14.00 (25 hours a week) Plus annual bonus of £3000 - paid twice yearly.

Job Overview:

Responsible for day-to-day activities within the Business Support Team including general administrative support,  Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 administration, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with quality management standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

General

  • Provide administrative support to various teams within the company, including but not limited to sales, marketing, and finance.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Actively communicate and liaise with other teams when required.

Quality

  • Keeping all administration up to date for Quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assist with streamlining processes and improving organisational efficiency.
  • Conduct internal audits as planned and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate activities required to meet the standards set for the Company and its products and services; including ISO 9001:2015, ABS, CCS and other classification bodies.

Health & Safety/Facilities maintenance

  • Coordinate the work of contractors.
  • Coordinate the service and maintenance of building systems and services.
  • Assist with ensuring that the building, plant, machinery and equipment meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
  • Keep internal H&S system up to date.
  • Coordinate Health & Safety meetings
  • Keeping up to date with all changes in health & safety legislation and best practice
  • Maintain a comprehensive central library of health & safety resources, policies and documentation.

IT

  • Assist with escalating any IT support tickets that have not been resolved in suitable time (between company employees and our IT partner)
  • Collaborate with IT Partner to maintain standards and functionality of both hardware and software.
  • Assist with obtaining Cyber Essentials certification

HR

  • Support management in HR-related procedures as required, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

NB: The list of tasks is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to the needs of the business.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and technologies.

Package

Salary:             £17,000 (£27,200 full time equivalent) + £3000 KPI Bonus

Location:         Redhill, Surrey

Hours:             Part Time - 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday (25 Hours per week)

                        Will consider alternative requests for hourly structure.

Holiday:           22 days + bank holidays

£3k non contractual KPI/performance related bonus. Qualify after passing 6 month probation.

EOT  (Part of Employee Ownership Trust after qualifying period)

                        Pension 7% on all earnings (4% employee/3% employer)

Probation:        6 months
