Salary £40,000 - Negotiable depending on experience

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join one of our highly successful financial services businesses based in the beautiful historic city of York. An exceptional business with an excellent reputation in the market, well known for delivering outstanding service for their clients.

Working within a small but growing team of advisers, this is a primarily office based role but with the flexibility to work one day a week from home after a period time.

A basic salary of £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience) is offered to the right candidate.

As their Paraplanner, you will be involved in supporting the team of advisers with their day to day tasks.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Cash flow modelling
  • Communicating with product providers
  • Client Fact Finding
  • Suitability report writing

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable recent Paraplanning experience
  • Full L4 Diploma qualified or working towards this
  • Understanding of the pension process and client options
  • Cash flow modelling (ideally Voyant)
  • Experienced in Fact Finding
  • Experienced in suitability report writing
  • The ability to use initiative and solve problems
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
