Painter Manchester

Harvey McQueen are extremely pleased to be recruiting for a Painter to join one of our clients as a Mould Treatment Specialist with painting experience. They are looking for someone who is hands on who has painting or is multi skilled to join them.

Work will be based in Manchester and surrounding areas. There is an amount of time working in areas that require overnight stays in a hotel - all expenses paid on a 4 day week with a day off on Friday.

Transport is provided however you must have a driving licence and be 25 years of age and over in order to be insured on the vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Strip walls with a solution
• Treat the affected area by washing the wall with safe chemicals
• Repaint the walls once treatment complete
• Work as part of a team or on your own initiative

Pay Benefits and Hours of work

• Working 8am - 4pm (30 minute paid lunch)
• Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday when working away from home
• Salary £12 per hour ( paid for 40 hours ) Rising to 12.50 after 13 weeks worked
• Holiday pay paid on top of hourly rate @ £1.45 per hour rising to £1.51
• Temp ongoing position, could go permanent for the right candidate
• Bonus Provided
• Starting immediately
• Works van will be provided with tools for the role, or you will be picked up
• Overtime available at time & half on a Saturday or after 40 hours worked
• Hotel accomodation paid and meal allowances paid.

Essential Requirements for applying for this role

• Experience in painting is an advantage
• Full training will be given
• Must have driving licence
• Ager 25 minimum for insurance
• Be professional at all times

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
- Proficient in various painting techniques and surface preparation methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precise results
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
