Position: Paid Media Account Director

Overview: As a Paid Media Account Director at our independent agency, you will lead a team of talented Paid Media Managers and Specialists to deliver exceptional digital advertising solutions for our diverse portfolio of clients. Leveraging your expertise in paid media strategy, client management, and team leadership, you will drive innovation, foster client relationships, and ensure the successful execution of campaigns that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Strategy and Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Develop and execute tailored paid media strategies aligned with client goals, ensuring continuous optimization and innovation.
    • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor and advocating for their success.
  2. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead a team of Paid Media Managers and Specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a collaborative and empowering team culture, encouraging creativity, innovation, and accountability.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team growth.
  3. Campaign Oversight and Optimization:

    • Review campaign strategies, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with client objectives and KPIs.
    • Offer strategic insights and recommendations for campaign optimization, audience targeting, creative messaging, and budget allocation.
    • Monitor industry trends and platform updates to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  4. Client Communication and Reporting:

    • Communicate proactively with clients, providing regular updates on campaign performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client feedback, resolve issues, and drive client satisfaction.
  5. Business Development and Growth:

    • Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling additional services, and securing new business through proactive relationship management and strategic thinking.
    • Participate in client pitches, presentations, and industry events to showcase agency capabilities and expertise.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving results-oriented campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Google Ads certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
