Outbound Team Leader

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to£32,000

Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an Outbound Team Leader to join a leading retailer. The role focuses on leading a team, managing the workload to maintain high levels of productivity, ensuring that orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading a team of over 15 people, in a retail environment, with excellent communication skills and a knowledge of warehouse operations, including stock management.

This role works on a Monday - Friday back-shift (3pm - 11pm)

Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and motivating the team to ensure that orders are picked and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner
* Coordinating the work of the team, setting targets and monitoring performance against these targets
* Ensuring all processes are adhered to, including health and safety, quality, and security procedures
* Conducting regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team
* Providing feedback and coaching to team members to ensure continuous improvement and development
* Liaising with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of work

Experience:
* Previous experience as an Outbound Team Leader or similar role, leading a team of over 15 people
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing formal HR processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Good knowledge of warehouse operations, including stock management and health and safety procedures.
