Evolve are recruiting for a leading provider of private healthcare in the UK who have an exciting new opportunity to join them as an Orthopaedic Team Leader. This position is based in Norwich.

You will be responsible for providing exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention while managing a team.

Ideal Requirement for an Orthopaedic Team Leader

  • RN or ODP qualification
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
  • Competence across a range of either surgical, anaesthetic, or post-anaesthesia, management and leadership skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
  • Working as a perioperative practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams.

Role Responsibilities for an Orthopaedic Team Leader

  • Compare current perioperative practices, trends, and developments against appropriate benchmarks.
  • Ensure that legislation, policies, and procedures are correctly applied within the perioperative team.
  • Clearly identify the wider benefits that develop knowledge, ideas, and work practices.
  • Make and present to the senior theatre managers recommendation on effective use of resources and improvement opportunities, maximise effective theatre utilisation.
