JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

LOCATION: Melksham

SALARY: £55,000 - £58,000

WAY OF WORKING: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08.30 - 5 and Friday’s 08.30 - 4

THE BUSINESS:

C4S-search are pleased to be partnering with a specialist in the engineering and manufacturing of respiratory protection equipment for military, law enforcement and fire personnel.

THE OPERATIONS MANAGER OPPORTUNITY:

• Collaborate with all departments to maintain a secure manufacturing environment.
• Ensure the attainment of production goals.
• Standardize operational procedures by overseeing Department Leaders.
• Coordinate workforce allocation across all shifts, assigning Cell Leaders to respective departments.
• Partner closely with CI management to enforce the ATW approach.
• Implement business management tools and metrics tailored to each department.
• Aid in achieving targets established by Value Stream Managers to support business objectives.
• Delegate tasks to Department Leaders and/or Cell Leaders.
• Facilitate the integration and approval of new products into production.
• Oversee site Health & Safety and Facilities management, including reporting on utility usage and outcomes of environmental and health & safety audits.
