Operations Manager

The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone from the Defence, Automotive or Off-Highway industry and has experience with Engines.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the production teams, ensuring goods are produced efficiently, effectively and to a consistently high quality.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Generate production plans in support of internal and external stakeholder targets
• Manage site product core holdings and component stocks in line with business needs and objectives
• Be responsible for the smooth running of the warranty function
• Assume line management responsibility for the operations team, including production planning
• Provide clear and concise leadership and support to the Operations Management team.

• Experience from the Automotive or Defence sector
• Experience managing the selection, procurement and ongoing maintenance of equipment
• The ability to ensure that all company procedures are adhered to, including health and safety, quality and standard operating procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide daily feedback to operations teams and business leadership teams.
