12 month initial contract

Location: Dunton, Basildon (hybrid)

Rate: £29.52/hr Umbrella, increasing to £35.65/hr Umbrella after 12 weeks (inside IR35)

As an Operations Analyst, you will work with big cloud-based data in delivering and maintaining local process controls, working across functions and markets to manage the ordering of SV options and meeting customer needs at all levels of the business.

In your first few weeks in this Operations Analyst role, you can expect to:

• Build operational excellence and programme control capabilities across the Special Vehicle Operations organisation to deliver the best solutions to customers in a flexible and agile manner
• Use data and tools to identify and action improvement areas to increase the agility and flexibility of the team
• Integrate company and industry best-practices to further improve productivity
• Identify additional tools that could further support the team build more robust, higher quality products with shorter lead times.

Skills & Experience  

• Experience working in a manufacturing / operations environment
• Building out and optimising new processes
• Tracking operating metrics and KPIs
• Using agile methodologies to accelerate programme delivery
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing best practices [incl. Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.]
• Experience in the commercial vehicle conversion market and international automotive industry
• Experience in PDL, Product Development, Manufacturing, and/or Programme Management.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
• Process-oriented mindset with emphasis on implementation.
