This Operational Resilience Business Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for a experienced, tried & tested business analyst to bring their expert Operational Resilience/Business Continuity knowledge to a growing team working on a programme of work to ensure this financial services organisation's regulations are in line with expectations. Experience working on FCA/PRA Policy is essential for this position. 

  • Job Type: Contract 
  • Office Location: Central London
  • Hybrid Model: 3 days per week in office, remaining days remote

The Role:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Regulatory Compliance, Operations and IT
  • Produce requirements, policy documentation and procedure documentation and attain required sign offs.
  • Run workshops to ensure engagement of key stakeholders and drive solutions
  • Involved from project initiation through to go live, offering on-going support to the business teams
  • Validation of chosen tooling to ensure it will meet business requirements, and if applicable propose alternative solutions. Understand the operational impact of proposed tooling solutions
  • Facilitate Incident Management training for business teams
  • Support the creation of runbooks for a set of crisis scenario responses
  • Feed into and assist with the maintenance of the project RAID log, ensuring risks and issues are understood and transparent
  • Hold walkthroughs of BRDs to ensure that requirements are reviewed by all stakeholders, and signed off within the timelines agreed in the project plan.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of five years' experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Extensive financial services experience.
  • Experience working on Operational Resilience projects (FCA/PRA Policy) 
  • A track record of working with a variety of business stakeholders, to produce detailed requirements documents, and IT project teams
  • Experience of delivering projects within a dynamic environment and a challenging timescale

Ideal skills/Experience:

  • Business Impact Experience
  • BCI Qualification
  • Experience within an Exchange, Clearing House, Member firm, or ETD department within a bank.
