SPR are proud to be working with a public sector client to recruit for an Operational Manager based in the Birmingham Area.  

Working Instructions
Hours: 36.5 hours per week, 8am-4pm, Monday – Friday 
Pay Rate: £21.13 per hour 
Type: Temporary 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing nine kitchens across the city, serving around 350 lunches a day! Additionally, they will have 5+ year's experience working as a catering manager.

Essential Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS – With Adult’s Barred List 
  • NVQ5 in Food Management or equivalent qualifications 
Main Responsibilities of an Operational Manager:
  • You will be responsible for all staff under your management 
  • You will be responsible for inductions, training, supervision and compliance 
  • Writing menus and ordering stock for upcoming weeks 
  • You will constantly evaluate and improve catering operations 
  • You will ensure that all food preparation and service areas comply with health and safety regulations, and that food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner
