Operational Field Support, Environment Agency, 40 hours per week, £9.58 per hour, 3 month contract.
Your new company
You will join a large public sector organisation who form a large subsidiary of a major government agency. This friendly organisation are devoted to protecting and improving the environment and wildlife. You will be supporting local communities and developing betters relationships, to make the environment a better place for everybody.
Your new role
As an Operations Team Member, you will work as part of a collaborative and supportive network to help reduce environmental impact and support services that help improve the local community, protecting both people and wildlife. Responsibilities will include effective response to all types of incidents, operating equipment, asset maintenance and working well as part of a team to achieve collective goals. You will spend the majority of your time in the wilderness, or the outdoors, so you can't be afraid of getting your hands dirty.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you need to be passionate about the environment and wildlife. You need to be committed to your job and be willing to tackle all manner of incidents when required. In order to do this role effectively you need to be physically fit, and cannot be afraid of spending the majority of your time outside. You will require excellent communication skills and are able to work as a team.
