Online History Tutor

Non-traditional teaching hours

£30 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Customized Instruction: Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on students’ needs and goals.
  • One-on-One Support: Provide individualized tutoring sessions to students, focusing on Histpry concepts and topics.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible in working across different time zones to accommodate students’ schedules.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and supportive communication with students in an online learning environment.
  • Subject Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of Biology content and stay updated on relevant curriculum changes.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Ideally, you have a degree or postgraduate qualification in History or a related field.
  • Teaching Experience & Qualification: Previous experience as a Post 16 History teacher or tutor, either in a school setting or through private tutoring & a teaching certificate such as a PGCE or equivalent.
  • Availability: Able to tutor on an intensive & flexible schedule, outside of the usual school/college timetable
