Our client, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an Array Cable Installation Engineer to join their team. As an Array Cable Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of offshore wind farms. This is a contract position based in Swindon, UK, with the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the renewable energy industry.

Job Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Strong experience in construction projects of offshore wind farms
  • Deeply founded understanding of tendering and contracts used in export cable installation
  • Strong project management experience in offshore logistics
  • Proven track record in offshore wind construction
Key Responsibilities
  • Development of offshore wind farm installation logistics
  • Support procurement with the preparation of contracts and vessel charters with offshore construction companies
  • Technical assessment of installation methodologies
  • Support Interface Management to scope-related internal and external stakeholders (work packages, other projects, contractors, authorities)
  • Close collaboration with other work packages and projects including knowledge and experience sharing
Deliverables
  • Deliver successful transport and installation of export cables
  • Obtain as-built documents for handover to Operations
