We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager. This is a combined role which will include, overseeing the sales order process and supply chain/purchasing functions.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Sales Order Processing:
  • Supervise and support a small Sales Administration team to ensure efficient and effective work flow.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to facilitate order processing and customer inquiries.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate sales records and databases
  • Conduct performance appraisals for team members, providing constructive feedback and setting development goals. 
Purchasing:
  • Conduct price comparisons for all trade products and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Responsible for ordering stocks and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Enter new product codes into the Sage accounting system.
  • Set up new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to optimise procurement process.
  • Monitor carriage costs for UK carriers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery solutions.
  • Track outstanding orders and ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Ensure that all staff members adhere to company procedures and policies.
  • Implement and enforce best practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficiency in using Sage or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation operations is desirable.

This is a full time and permanent office based position working, Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm
