Office Manager - role overview:

This wide-ranging Office Manager opportunity could be the perfect career step for an A’level or degree educated, process-driven individual with advanced Excel, high numeracy and some bookkeeping / accounts experience.

This team of 7 dynamic, sociable and charming financial technology Search Consultants / Headhunters needs someone very organised to run the busy office. This involves taking responsibility for business administration, office and facilities management, accounts management and being the first point of call for the contracts desk.

You’ll have innate organisational flair and a passion for implementing procedures and ensuring processes run seamlessly! Apart from being super efficient, you’ll also need confident communication and an approachable personality to liaise with clients and candidates.

Office Manager - what’s on offer:

  • Salary £30,000 -£40,000
  • Discretionary performance bonus

  • Hours 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday

Office Manager - key requirements:

  • Degree or good A’levels
  • 2 + years’ experience in an administration / accounts role
  • Advanced Excel
  • High level of numeracy

Office Manager - main responsibilities:

  • Office and facilities management
  • Accounts management including bookkeeping, overseeing budgets, dealing with expenses and invoices, VAT, NI
  • Payroll management for contractors
  • Developing and implementing procedures and processes
  • Ensuring compliance
  • Booking travel and some PA duties
  • Being the first point of contact for Contractors
  • On boarding candidates
  • Pre-screening candidates
  • Preparing contracts for candidates
