Job Title: Nursery Nurse

Location: Central Leeds

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled and caring Nursery Nurse to join our team in one of our nursery schools located in Central Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in creating a fun and engaging curriculum
  • Help children with their daily routines such as feeding, dressing and toileting
  • Supervise children during playtime and activities
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers to provide updates on their child's development
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Additional duties as assigned by the lead teacher or school administration

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and early education
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for working with young children and making a positive impact on their development
