Hays Education is working in partnership with a Liverpool based private day nursery to appoint a Nursery Assistant. The centre is equipped with excellent facilities and achieved very high standards in their recent Ofsted inspection. For the successful candidate, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the progression of the centre, as well as improving your skills through working as part of a high achieving team

The centre's management team are looking to appoint a highly skilled Nursery Assistant with secure knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage from birth-5.
You will be joining a hard working, forward thinking team; so you will need to be proactive in your approach, with an ability to motivate yourself as well as the children in your care. Specialist skills in supporting pupils with SEN or leading arts and crafts activities would be beneficial.

To be considered for this Early Years Teaching Assistant role you will:

  • be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2
  • be able to provide reference details for an education setting where you have worked within the last 12 months
  • have proven experience of working with the EYFS framework from birth-5
  • be comfortable supporting other members of staff in the preparation of food; feeding pupils and adhering to relevant health and safety guideline
  • be confident in working with the whole birth-5 age range from changing nappies to helping children integrate into their first year of school

    Appointment will be subject to obtaining a CRB check.
