The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse on Part 1 of NMC register, they will be educated to Masters Level with recognised and appropriate postgraduate qualification at Masters level or above e.g. postgraduate in child protection, and will have a portfolio of career long learning.
The post holder will be an experienced nurse with significant experience in a senior clinical/management role and will have experience of working in Children Young People/Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) teams. This would require having a clear understanding of the FNP Programme and its underlying principles, and having knowledge improvement methodology would be benficial.
The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills including negotiation, facilitation, influencing and presentation skills and evidence of ability to engage with staff and stakeholders at all levels. They also should be solution focussed, a self starter, and self disciplined.
