We're thrilled to announce our merger with Digital Infrastructure and are on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our newly combined powerhouse, FullFibre, as Tier 2 NOC Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line support to customers, resolving technical issues with efficiency and precision.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems adeptly, ensuring minimal downtime for our valued clients.
  • Collaborate with a growing team to maintain the smooth operation of our cutting-edge full fibre network services.
  • Log and document customer interactions and technical issues meticulously, escalating complex problems when needed.
  • Stay ahead of the game by understanding the latest in optical fibre network technology and supporting key infrastructure projects.
  • Utilise in-depth knowledge of optical fibre network FTTH/FTTP transit technology to troubleshoot faults and performance issues effectively, providing specialist support when needed.
  • Provide technical input into key infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Assist in network changes and conduct key impact analysis to ensure smooth operations.
  • Share knowledge across the business and liaise with XGS PON vendors to track firmware upgrade requirements.
  • Conduct staging and testing of networking equipment to meet design requirements and optimise performance

What we're looking for:

  • Expertise in engineering or network support, with a knack for supplier interaction.
  • A higher education graduate in IT, networking, or related fields is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a telecom customer service or technical support role is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot network issues with ease.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Nokia FX series OLTs and ADVA FSP XG-400 series is advantageous.
  • Cisco CCNP/Juniper JNCIP or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid working model: 60% office-based, 40% remote.
  • Choose between our Exeter or Ledbury office locations.
