Night Shift Production Supervisor

The Company:
If you are an experienced and confident Production Supervisor who is used to and wanting to work a Late Shift / Night Shift, then this could be the role for you!  This is a busy, hands-on role which will call upon your people management skills, knowledge of H&S and proven supervisory experience in a busy production environment.  This role is a Permanent Nights position - 4 Lates / Nights, Monday to Thursday. Mon-Wed working 2.15pm-12.15am, Thursday working 2.15pm-11.45pm.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing production operations across manufacturing, Assembly and Warehouse & Logistics on the late shift (2.15pm-12.15am M-T and 2.15pm-11.45pm F).
  • You will be working with the Operations Manager, Quality, Production Planners, Warehouse & Maintenance to ensure production plans are met in a smooth and efficient manner by monitoring employees and assisting in organizing workflow.
  • The goal is to ensure our processes are safe and deliver quality products to our customers, in full, on time and in a cost effective manner.
  • To ensure training is of a high standard for all employees and that records are kept up to date. 
  • Maintain all order through put ensuring that all jobs are assembled and dispatched to meet or exceed any customer expectations or contractual obligations.
  • To provide hands on cover in any production cell if a shortfall of staff is encountered.
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy to the highest level and follow 5S protocols. 
 Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a production environment in a supervisory role, ideally having already worked on a night shift.
  • Experienced using assembly machinery and tools.
  • Good command and understanding of written and spoken English to enable post holder to interpret instructions and production drawings.
  • Self motivated and results driven with organizational and leadership abilities.
