Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of electronic components, renowned for delivering high-quality and innovative solutions to manufacturers across diverse sectors. Aspion is proud to lead the search for their next New Customer Hunter to join their esteemed and expanding team. This role presents extensive growth opportunities within the dynamic market of the North of England.

The Role

As a New Business Manager, you will drive targeted sales activity with existing and potential customers, focusing on the manufacturing and engineering sector.

Reporting into the District Sales Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of customers in the geographic territory covering the North of the UK

 Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Remote Work Flexibility: Plan and follow up on tasks from home two days per week (Monday and Friday).
  • Effective Time Management: Independently manage your time to achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Field Work: Spend three days per week visiting a mix of new and existing customers.
  • Appointment Setting: Secure a minimum of two daily appointments with new and existing clients.
  • Cold Calling: Conduct a minimum of four cold calls daily to potential new customers.
  • Customer Acquisition: Focus on targeting and acquiring new customers to expand the company's client base.
  • Account Management: Manage a small customer base, ensuring their needs are met while nurturing and retaining existing customers.
  • Target Identification: Identify key target clients, with a focus on engineering design specialists across various industries.

About You 

The ideal candidate for this role will possess: 

  • Previous B2B Field or Remote Sales Experience.
  • Strong drive to succeed in a challenging sales environment.
  • Intelligence and technical aptitude to grasp concepts.
  • Resilience and thick-skinned attitude.
  • High energy levels and enthusiasm.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sociable characteristics.

Job Benefits 

  • Competitive Basic Salary: Up to £30,000 annually.
  • Guaranteed Commission Structure: Receive £300 per month for the first 6 months.
  • Lucrative Commission Structure: Unlimited earning potential for top performers.
