Our client, a major global banking brand and provider of bespoke funding solutions to businesses requires a driven and ambitious finance professional to join their Invoice Finance team as a Business Development Executive.

Based from their Regional Head office in Surrey, the main aim of your role will be the generation of profitable new business opportunities, in addition to supporting the existing sales team throughout the UK, providing ongoing customer service and administrative support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with national brokers and qualifying their inbound leads to ensure they fall within the Bank’s risk appetite.
  • Self-generating your own leads from cold-call or making contact to newly on-boarded customers from other desks. Acting like an 'introducer’ to the national sales team or other areas of the bank i.e., raising deposits, foreign exchange and/or asset finance.
  • Target deal size ranges from circa £500K to £10 Million.
  • Visiting prospects jointly with a Regional Director.
  • Completing KYC searches on prospect businesses and their directors/shareholders.
  • Data profiling for debentures to find key professional introducers that may become a good source of new business - then developing a relationship with them.

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and show an aptitude for sales and financial analysis. You will be a confident, energetic, ambitious individual with a first rate work ethic.
