Network Engineer NSX-T – Stoke on Trent

Working for a growing, successful MSP on public sector, defence, MOD projects. Our client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer. Responsible for design, implementation, and management of Vmware NSX-T Infrastructure to ensure the security and reliability of the network environment.

Working on exciting high security projects, deploying, configuring, and maintaining NSX-T components, including NSX Manager, NXS Controller, NSX Logical Switching.

Looking at designing, planning, and architecting VMWare NSX-t solutions to meet the networking requirements, including virtualised network infrastructure, and network virtualisation.  Implementing cutting-edge solutions to support organisation needs.  Implementing network virtualisation features such as VXLAN, VLAN, configuring and enforcing micro-segmentation policies using NSX-T Distributed Firewalls (DFW) to enhance network security, and take part in troubleshooting network issues and analysing performance metrics.

Techstack: NSX-T, Network virtualisation VCP-NV or VMware, TCP/IP, VLAN, vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, Powershell, Python, Ansible, AWS, Azure, GCP, vCenter Sever, enterprise environments.

Would suit someone with a very strong technical background, experience of working with NSX-T isessential for this opportunity.

Ideally you will be SC cleared now or will be willing to undertake SC clearance. Our client has a very generous training budget in place with lots of scope for progression and development.
