NetSuite Technical Architect

-          Contract 6 months

-          Outside IR35

-          Hybrid into Birmingham

-          £550 - £650 per day

VIQU have partnered with a leading IT service provider who is currently seeking an experienced NetSuite Technical Architect to join their team on an interim basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect  

  • Craft technical blueprints: Translate the overall solution architecture and business needs into detailed technical designs.
  • Navigate tech feasibility
  • Lead NetSuite development: Guide and manage partner teams to ensure the solution aligns with technical designs, best practices, and business requirements.
  • Drive solution delivery: Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from analysis and design to configuration, deployment, and documentation.
  • Bridge business and technology: Analyse requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Empower developers: Develop robust solution frameworks to streamline development processes.
  • Champion software quality: Enforce established quality standards for design, data, code, version control, defect tracking, code reviews, testing, and environment management.
  • Guide testing strategy: Collaborate with QA and functional teams to define testing approaches for new and existing features. Oversee test execution and ensure the product meets industry and company standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation: Ensure all system configurations, customizations, and integrations are thoroughly documented.
  • Optimize NetSuite performance: Continuously monitor and improve NetSuite performance by identifying and implementing enhancements.
  • Agile collaboration: Actively participate in daily scrum meetings and collaborate with product and process leads to review progress and make adjustments as needed.

Essential Experience required of an Enterprise Architect

  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Technical Architect (Min 5 years)
  • Should be an expert NetSuite customization:
    • SuiteScripts 1.0 and 2.0 (NetSuite APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON)
    • SuiteCloud SDK/SDF
    • SuiteTalk WebServices
    • SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL
    • Suiteflow
    • Experience working in large scale business transformations
    • Strong presentation skills; able to optimally present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of customers.
    • Ability to produce high quality written documentation for all end deliverables.
    • Ability to self-manage and work independently, work to tight deadlines, prioritize workloads and work with related internal business functions.
    • Ability to problem solve and to drive problem solving within the team.
    • Familiarity with agile architecture operating models and modern workplace products and services.
    • Excellent communication skills required
