.NET Developer

My client have a very clear goal in place, which has seen their development and data team grow from 4 to 20 in last few years. You will have a chance to join an amazing company, where you will be able to reach your full potential and take real ownership of the work/ projects.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis (Monday and Friday at home) with flexible working hours as well. 

Day to day duties of the role include:

• Spearhead the development of browser-based web solutions to streamline business processes and drive efficiency.
• Enhance and maintain their Management Systems to meet the business’s dynamic needs.
• Liaise with third-party providers for API integration, potentially developing API wrappers as required.
• Uphold industry standards and best practices to ensure their systems are secure, robust, and optimised.
• Manage and optimise databases, including tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and indexes.
• Provide accurate estimates for development tasks, juggling multiple projects without compromising quality.
• Generate comprehensive documentation to support the development infrastructure.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to shape technical solutions and adapt to ever-changing company needs and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications are:

• Proficiency in .NET framework / .NET Core (C#), ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Functions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server with expert-level T-SQL skills.
• Commitment to writing clean, efficient, readable, and well-documented code.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing effective testing plans.
• Skilled in troubleshooting common database issues and optimising SQL statements.

Additional Desirable Skills:

• Ideally some experience/ knowledge in Professional Services/ Legal Sector.
• Knowledge of Agile development principles and Continuous Integration.
• Familiarity with Azure Stack, Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Microservice Architecture.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and any modern framework.
