We are currently working with an innovative company based in Castleford who are looking to expand their Development team with the addition of an experienced developer. You will report directly to the Software Development Manager and work side by side with a strong team of Developers maintaining their cored products and subsidiary components.

Technical Skills Required:

* C# or VB.NET (experience of both would be beneficial but not essential)
* MVC and Javascript experience is essential
* SQL (MySQl, MSSQL)
* HTML / CSS
* Cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS )
* Xamarin
* Team Foundation Server
* Service orientated architecture
* Test driven development & Unit testing
* Agile development

You will tasked with writing code and technical documentation for internal and external use. You will be passionate about continuous improvement; you will be given the opportunity to train and develop in many specific areas but you must possess the drive and initiative to focus in on these areas. You will be a confident problem solver, being able to present ideas and solutions to key stakeholders in order to gain their buy-in.

Your main duties will be to develop high quality software code in line with company best practice. You will understand user and technical requirements by the product team and translate these into product changes. You will provide clear and technical documentation for internal consumption and provide the documentation department assistance in creating client facing documents.
