NEC Housing Applications Consultant

Here at Hays, I am recruiting for an NEC Housing Consultant / SME on a 3-month initial contract paying circa £500pd (Outside IR35), working remotely for our South Yorkshire client.

What you will be working on
We are looking for someone who has significant experience working with the NEC Housing system (ideally the allocations' module) to guide and support the data team on the data migration from Abritas to NEC Housing.

• You will be reviewing the migration approach and validating the mapped data and processes.
• Reviewing the initial migration exercise and assessing whether data loads have migrated effectively and accurately in the NEC Housing product.
• Support the Migration Lead in developing SQL scripts and/or amendments to mapped data from Abritas to NEC.
• Overseeing the running of SQL scripts for the data unloading and loading process, this should include diagnosing and addressing any load errors.
• Provide issue and error management expertise as part of future test migrations and on the go-live migration.

Who you will be working for
Our client is a public sector organisation based in South Yorkshire.

What you'll need to succeed
Someone who is a System Matter Expert / Consultant in the Northgate / NEC Housing system and ideally on the Abritas system too.
You will have:

• Experience of data migrations to the NEC Housing system
• Experience of working with and analysing large amounts of data within a SQL-based database
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive projects forward
• Excellent communication skills and confidence, with all levels of seniority
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision

What you'll get in return
On offer is a 3-month initial contract paying circa £500 per day (Outside IR35). This role is based remotely but will require odd visits to South Yorkshire throughout the duration of the contract as required.
