Position: Music Teacher 
Dates: September 2024
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: MPS1 - UPS3

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative music lessons to students across various age groups.
• Prepare lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and accommodate the varying learning needs and interests of students.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and musical instruments to enhance learning and student engagement.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, managing classroom dynamics effectively.
• Collaborate with faculty and adhere to school policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) or equivalent experience in music education.
• Proficiency in a wide range of musical instruments and genres.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Previous experience teaching music in a school setting is preferred.
• Current DBS check or willingness to undergo a new check.
