Role: Multi Trade Engineer

Rate of Pay: £15.38 per hour PAYE

Location: The John Howard Centre (NHS Contract)

The Company:

We are working with a client that specialises in offering hard FM maintenance services within the NHS on a national scale and requires an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of sites.

The Role:

The Multi Skilled Engineer will be working within the Maintenance Team and their main duties/responsibilities will include the below;

• Carrying out general planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on building services (including out of hours call-out cover).
• Maintenance to buildings fabric, plant, equipment and alarm systems.
• On-call and overtime.
• Assist with on call which would be 1 in every 5 weeks.

The Requirements:

• A successful candidate in this role must be able to demonstrate experience covering all basic maintenance including carpentry, plumbing and patch plastering.
• Position subject to Standard DBS check.
• UK driving license (manual) and have held for at least one year (not been banned in the past 3 years and no more than 6 points)

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm plus on call 1 week in every 5 weeks.
• Access to a pool van which can be used if travelling is required to another site and when on-call.
• Standby allowance £75.00 for the week and overtime paid for a minimum of 2 hours per call out at either time and a half if Monday to Saturday or double time if Sunday or Bank Holiday.
• Plus, a day off in lieu if called out on a Bank Holiday.
