Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

This role is for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is capable of performing preventative and reactive maintenance duties across a wide range of manufacturing machinery. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's production lines in our Runcorn location.

Description

• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
• Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and correct them.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Profile

A successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:

• An educational background in Engineering or a relevant field.
• Proven experience in a similar role in the FMCG / manufacturing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Multi Skilled with a mechanical biased.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment.
