An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a team in the Engineering & Manufacturing department of a leading FMCG company in Manchester. The role involves maintaining and repairing equipment, whilst prioritising safety and efficiency.

Description

  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of all production equipment
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Provide technical support to the production team
  • Comply with the company's safety and quality standards
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Profile

A successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • An engineering qualification, preferably in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in the FMCG industry
  • Competence in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
