Our client is a market leader in the textiles sector with operations across the UK and Europe. They are currently looking to recruit a number of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support their continued expansion at their Leicester site with basic salary up to £45,000

As a Multi Skilled Engineer in Leicester you will be working within an Engineering team of 12 ensuring our clients production operation operates to its full capacity by reducing downtime through PPM and reactive repairs.

On a day to day basis as a Multi Skilled Engineer based in Leicester you will be:

  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team, supporting and identifying ways of improving plant productivity.
  • Ensure that any spare parts, materials, and equipment are available.
  • Investigating and establishing the causes of all breakdowns and machinery speed losses.
  • Carrying out PPM and reactive repairs.

 Successful candidates will have:

  •  Previous hands on experience within maintenance engineering
  • Have worked in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Multi-skilled preferably with an Electrical bias.
  • The ability to Electrically - fault find on single and three-phase systems, servo motors and AC motors, sensors, and various control systems.
  • Mechanically - work on drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, and some hydraulics.
  • Ability to strip machine assemblies to component level and rebuild
  • Education to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred
