Purpose of the Role:

The role holder oversees and is responsible for a sales performance for Central Government within Public Sector

Ensures the Sector has coverage, process capability, direction and support required to exceed corporate goals.

Develops, leads, mentors and coaches to create and retain a high performing team of senior sales professionals

The Role:

This role is responsible for delivering a $35M TCV in Central Government

Develop territory and coverage plans and participate in strategic and tactical planning

Management of 5 User and New Logo Client Managers

Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of organizational strategies

Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges/ regulatory issues

Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities

Works on unique and complex issues that have a broad impact on the business

Implements strategic policies

Work with Marketing / Inside Sales to develop demand generation activities and ensures 100% follow up of all leads and suspects created from these activities by salespeople in the team.

Successful track record of sales - and sales management - associated with winning complex, large scale outsourcing sales opportunities

Strong experience of building senior client relationships and personal credibility at C-level

Demonstrated sound knowledge of the strategic issues facing customers in different industry sectors

Proven ability to inspire, lead, motivate and influence customers, sales professionals and senior management

Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively - and lead - in a matrix management environment
