Do you have strong experience leading and managing Materials, Planning, Warehousing & Logistics? Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment? Have you worked in an automotive or tier 1 manufacturing environment? If so, our client, a tier 1 automotive supplier, is recruiting for a MP&L Manager for their site in Larkhall. This role will be responsible for managing 75 total staff, with 5 direct reports, across the Materials, Planning, Warehousing and Logistics teams.

Job Description

  • Provide professional leadership of the MP&L team, work closely with key stakeholders, external customers and operational teams
  • To ensure the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental standards are implemented within the MP&L team.
  • Liaise with customers and be a face for customers as and when needed
  • To raise and resolve plan issues with the manufacturing and support teams and amend as necessary.
  • To produce a robust up to date capacity plan that takes into account improvements in OEE, Preventative Maintenance and other factors.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in an automotive or tier 1 manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in MP&L
  • Senior leadership experience, strong team player, effective communication skills Customer facing experience, relationship management
  • Commercial/financial awareness
