Mortgage Technical Assistant

Are you a mortgage administration professional, looking for a new role in a dynamic and supportive environment?

Due to continued success in providing mortgage advice to private clients, this successful mortgage broker requires a professional and proactive technical assistant to provide holistic support to the mortgage advisers.

The successful candidate will have in depth knowledge and understanding of the mortgage process; have experience using industry software.

Duties for this role will include:

• Responsible for gathering accurate research utilising up to date client information. Research gathered using internal and external I.T systems.
• Provide accurate information to the Mortgage Adviser and clients in response to what can be complex applications and enquiries, liaising as needed with appropriate colleagues.
• First point of contact for, and ownership of, a variety of calls and email queries into the business, from clients, advisers and third parties.
• Liaise with clients and the Mortgage Adviser to update online fact finds with client preferences.

The candidate:

• Excellent communication skills; maintaining a strong working relationship with the Mortgage Adviser
• Ability to prioritise and manage a high case load.
• CeMap qualification preferred
