An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc.

Are you an enthusiastic and proactive individual who can bring their expertise to support 6 Advisers and the existing client bank in this established practice?

The role will involve all aspects of Mortgage broking support including preparation of advice, mortgage illustrations, mortgage applications, insurance applications and keeping clients up to date with progress of their transactions.

The role: Mortgage Broker

    • Your role will be to provide advice, guidance and updates to clients and lenders whilst managing new business cases from application through to completion
    • Sourcing and processing of mortgage and protection products
    • Using electronic and online systems to maintain the client database, ensuring information is regularly checked and updated
    • Producing Suitability letters and compliance documentation for mortgage and protection cases
    • You will proactively build strong working relationships with clients and lenders.

The Person: Mortgage Broker

    • You will need previous experience as a Mortgage Administrator or Broker and have a genuine interest developing your career in this area
    • You must be CeMap qualified (if you are also DipPFS or equivalent this would beneficial)
    • You are a strong communicator with great attention to detail and have strong numerical and written skills
    • You are organised and able to work using your initiative and enjoy a busy team environment
    • It is essential that as a Mortgage Broker you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
